Long time Evolve clients, Paw Pals in Perth, WA was awarded Best Doggy Daycare by the Australian Enterprise Awards. Laura Maher leads a team of inspired dog lovers who provide a home away from home for people who want more for their pooch.
Owner, Laura Maher explains, “I built this company because I had a rescue dog named Hank who was so important to me, and when I was working in corporate it broke my heart to leave him at home everyday. I looked at Daycares but none of them seemed good enough for my Hank. So I started a business that would be a home away from home for people 4 legged fur babies. I brought in a team of “Canine Coaches” who would love these dogs as much as their owners do.”
Under the guidance of Laura Maher, Paw Pals has provided a wonderful environment that Dog Owners love to bring their furry children too. The culture she has created, the joy her staff bring to these amazing canines and their owners really is in a league by itself. What is amazing about all of this additional customer service is that Laura is committed to finding ways to do this without affecting the profitability of the company. She really gets that if Paw Pals isn’t profitable she cannot provide this quality of service to her clients.
The idea is to present a community that provides a joyous, fun, social, and healthy environment for the dog to thrive in. Laura makes sure that she treats each dog the way she would have treated Hank (right down to the healthy food she prepares for them).
Outside of her personal achievements, Laura has been a pillar of support in the Evolve community and now mentors other business owners in the power of profitability and coming up with a truly unique, fresh and inspiring approach to your market… and this has been received well within the community. She certainly gets the tails wagging,,,,though most business owners just call it a strut.
